Biography
Early Life
Jason was born in approx. August 2003 grew up in Atlanta with his best friend Greg and the two idolized horror movies. Both idolized Ghostface and had a shrine dedicated to him hidden in a wardrobe in their dorm room. After the 2022 Woodsboro Murders, he and Greg wanted to finish making the movie that Richie Kirsch was making. The two enrolled at Blackmore University university, becoming roommates and sharing a dorm, in order to follow Samantha Carpenter, Tara Carpenter, Chad Meeks-Martin and Mindy Meeks-Martin, unaware that Wayne Bailey, the father of Richie, and his kids Quinn and Ethan, were already planning their own killing spree to get revenge against Sam for killing Richie.
The New York Ghostface Murders
Murder of Laura Crane

Almost one year after the 2022 Woodsboro Murders, Jason described himself as having "blue balls" from killing, meaning that he may have killed before, and wanted to satisfy his bloodlust. He matched with his film professor, Australian woman Laura Crane, on Flirtr, under a fake identity, and talked with her for a while before asking her out on a date. Laura waited at the restaurant whilst Jason was hiding in an alley and then texted her saying he was lost and asking if he could call her. Laura agreed and Jason called her and told her he was on his way after discovering he was on the wrong street. He asked Laura for a description of the building and Laura went outside to check.

Jason then told Laura he found the right street (Hudson) and was coming down an alleyway he believed led to the restaurant. He asked her to confirm and Laura approached the alleyway and he told her he was walking down despite the fact that she couldn't see him. He asked her to wave however then pretended to get panicky and said someone was following him with a knife. Laura took the bait and ran down the alleyway only for Jason to activate a voice changer and speak to her as Ghostface. He jumped out of an alley wearing a Ghostface costume and brutally stabbed Laura to death.
Meeting his Maker
Jason then removed the costume, put it into his backpack and changed into his Blackmore University hoodie and walked back to campus, crossing paths with Tara Carpenter along the way who was going to a frat party of the Omega Kappa Beta. Jason returned to his dorm room and put the bloody mask into a Ghostface shrine hidden in the dorm in a closet.

Jason sits on the sofa to watch Friday the 13th and gets a call from Greg who is using the Ghostface voice, despite the fact that they agreed they wouldn't. They discuss their plan to finish Richie's movie and "Greg" then reveals he is watching Jason through their security cameras and plays a game of Hot and Cold, leading Jason to the refrigerator where Greg's mutilated and decapitated body is. Jason then realizes he is speaking to a real Ghostface killer and is then attacked by the killer, wearing Billy Loomis' old mask.
When Jason asks the killer what about the movie, Ghostface responds, "Who gives a fuck about movies?" and kills him, leaving Samantha's drivers license behind as bait.
Aftermath
After hearing of their murders, FBI Agent Kirby Reed comes to New York City, having followed Jason and Greg's online activity for months. Gale Weathers later discovers an old abandoned theatre in Jason and Greg's names and uncovers it as a shrine dedicated to Ghostface. It is later revealed that Wayne Bailey actually helped his son Richie build the shrine and then put in in Jason and Greg's names to cover his tracks.

Quotes

- He has a knife. He's following me!
After reveal
- There's a first time for everything (To Tara Carpenter).
- I got massive blue balls.
- Are you using the fucking cameras?
- But we have to finish the movie.
As Ghostface
- The worst part is... you teach a class about slashers and you still walked into a dark alley. Alone.
- Now I see something red!
Trivia
- Tony Revolori had not previously watched any Scream films and joined the franchise after being convinced by Mason Gooding.
- Despite wearing the Ghostface costume during his kills and being a canon killer, Jason doesn't count as a proper Ghostface, because his plotline is completely separated from the main story and the main Ghostfaces.
- This would make Jason the first official copycat Ghostface, due to planning on going a separate killing spree with his friend after he murdered Laura Crane, based on finishing another Ghostface killer's (Richie Kirsch) former attempted victims (Core Four), via the other's plan to finish his "movie", (with Jason or Greg possibly going on to target different random people as victims or directly going after the survivors following Laura, unstated), unaware of the fact that the former killer's family members (Wayne, Ethan, and Quinn) would then be committing the actual murders of each's targeted victims, in order to target the main survivors instead.
- Jason would also be a copycat Ghostface in this regard, due to the fact that he was only acquainted, thus not actually friends or in a friend group, with Tara Carpenter, Mindy Meeks-Martin, and Chad Meeks-Martin.
- He also didn't have a personal vendetta against the survivors, like most of the main, official Ghostface killers.
- Jason as an unofficial Ghostface, who was in the Film Studies class at Blackmore University with Tara, Mindy, and Chad, is a reference to the third revealed Ghostface killer, Mickey Altieri, who was in Randy Meeks's Film class at Windsor College.
- This is an inverse of Scream 2 and it's Windsor College Murders, referred as the Copycat Murders, seeing as they'd appeared to be committed randomly and also based on victims at the college, due to sharing similar names of former victims from the Woodsboro Murders (1996).
- Before it was revealed to be masterminded by the former Woodsboro Murders' mastermind Billy Loomis's (Ghostface #1) revenge seeking mother, Nancy Loomis (Ghostface #4), and thus the murders committed by her and her accomplice, Mickey, (a former student and part of the college friend group of Billy's own killer, ex-girlfriend and survivor, Sidney Prescott), were not random, as they meant to target Sidney and those around her.
- Jason and Greg would attempt to target Samantha Carpenter and her half-sister (whether on not also targeting their friends, the Meeks-Martin twins) as survivors, with the former not only being the ex-girlfriend of Richie (as the former Ghostface who's unfinished film they're trying to finish by planning to kill them, just as Richie intended the year prior), but also the daughter of Billy and granddaughter of Nancy, is a reverse, loosely similar to the second film and it's events.
- Seeing as Jason, knowingly or not, was targeting a legacy character related to two Ghostface killers, a year after Richie tried killing Sam and the others on the 26th anniversary of the 1996 murders committed by her father (Billy), who'd be doing so as three of the survivors attended college with him in a different state, which Samantha followed them to, attempting to do an unofficial copycat murder spree, before being killed by a revenge-seeking father committing an actual murder spree, just like her grandmother had done before (Nancy).
- The third out of four Ghostface killers with only a single victim and the second male, preceded by Nancy Loomis killing Randy Meeks in Scream 2 and Richie Kirsch killing Wes Hicks in the fifth film, who's succeeded by Quinn Bailey in the sixth film, killing Brooks.
- Although it's implied he might've killed before, when speaking to Quinn Bailey as Ghostface, who he thinks is Greg, about having "blue balls" and that he had to do it.
- Jason's own death as the third victim, of who was portrayed by the likes of a notable actor, is a reference to the deaths of Casey Becker (excluding Maureen Prescott's death off-screen in 1995, as the first victim, would also include Arthur Himbry as third victim), Cici Cooper, Sarah Darling, and Wes Hicks from the previous films.
- Jason (and Greg) had a shrine in their dorm room closet dedicated to the Stab franchise (1997-2021), only for the actual killers to forge their names as owners of the Ghostface Shrine, with collected evidence of the previous five Ghostface film massacres.
- His death mirrors Phil Stevens in reciprocity of circumstances (instead of Phil’s antics with his girlfriend, Maureen Evans, and killed by vengeful mother, Nancy Loomis, as Ghostface).
- In this version, Jason’s antics are posing as Laura’s romantic interest and killed her in attempt to continue Richie’s legacy, but only to be killed be vengeful father, Wayne Bailey, as Ghostface.
- Jason is the third killer in the franchise (including the television series) who isn't an official Ghostface, predated by Tom Martin (as the Shallow Grove Slasher) and Luther Thompson.
- Jason as an unofficial Ghostface being a fan of the Stab franchise (alongside Greg), would make him the fifth Ghostface killer, regardless, to be a fanatic, preceded by the duos whom had committed the brutal Second (2011) and Third Woodsboro Murders (2022), respectively:
- Jill Roberts and Charlie Walker from Scream 4.
- Amber Freeman and Richie Kirsch from Scream (2022).
- Both him and Greg Bruckner are the first film characters from Atlanta, Georgia.
- The main characters from the third season, Scream: Resurrection (2019), of the TV show predate them.
- Jason and Greg are around the same age as them, too (unstated if the show and movies are connected, whether or not in-universe).
- Although Jason kills Laura Crane in New York City, he would technically be the third Ghostface from Atlanta, after Beth and Jamal Elliot.
- The main characters from the third season, Scream: Resurrection (2019), of the TV show predate them.
- The first unofficial Killer to be killed by an actual killer (Wayne Bailey).
- He is also the only unofficial killer in the franchise to get his own poster.
- Jason is vaguely similar to Friday the 13th Part V: Jason Lives antagonist Roy Burns as he pretends to be Jason Voorhees, who eventually comes back in the sequel. Jason is not an official Ghostface, but just a fanatic and of course his role is a lot smaller as Roy is the antagonist of Jason Lives.
- This is also somewhat similar to Charlie Deveraux in Halloween: H20 originally being written as a copycat killer that pretended to be Michael Myers and eventually being killed by the real Michael. Jason himself is killed by one of the actual Ghostface killers, albeit a much smaller role than Charlie. In the final film, Charlie is a regular victim of Michael.

Although, despite sixth film showing dates from Halloween week corresponding to 2022, Jason was born in August 2003, who would’ve been 19 the year before (2022), who in 2023, had turned 20, just two months before the murders.
